I believe Mission needs greater transparency and accountability in how decisions are made and how taxpayer dollars are spent. As our community grows, we also need to expand the services and programs that support residents at every stage of life—with a particular focus on youth, recreation, mentorship, and creating meaningful opportunities for young people to feel connected, supported, and engaged in their community.
I want to see a Council that listens to residents, communicates openly, and follows through on its commitments.
As a councillor, I will be people-first, accessible, and accountable. I will listen to residents, work collaboratively, and focus on practical solutions that make a meaningful difference in people’s everyday lives. I will bring honesty, transparency, and compassion to Council, while ensuring the voices of families, youth, seniors, local businesses, and our diverse communities are heard and respected.
I want to be the kind of councillor who shows up, listens, and gets things done.
My experience as a School Trustee has taught me the importance of listening to families, working collaboratively, navigating complex issues, and making thoughtful decisions with the community’s best interests at heart. Building strong relationships with students, parents, staff, and community partners has given me a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing Mission families.
I will bring that same collaborative, accountable, and community-first approach to City Council—working with residents, not simply speaking for them.
